Aigu Om! is back! And in a whole new way. For the sixth Aigu Om! festival, we are turning our gaze towards our neighbors, the Latvians, to join forces. From July 15th to 17th, Aigu Om! will host Latvian musicians, artisans, and artists, collaborating closely with the community and organizers of the Valmiermuiža Ethno-Music Festival. But that is not all. Latvia is just a stone's throw away, and this year you can spend the final day of Aigu Om! on July 18th, 2026, surrounded by a magnificent international music program in Valmiera.
'Aigu om' means – there is time, take your time! This phrase, which has become the guiding philosophy of the local Võro people, is the core message of the festival, inspiring its audience to embrace a slower, more natural pace of life. Held in the heart of Võrumaa, the Aigu Om festival weaves together music, forest, and word. Outstanding workshops, thoughtful discussions, concerts, and nature walks offer a heartfelt opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich local heritage, the authentic wisdom and stories of our people, and the enchanting, untouched nature of Võrumaa.
