In the framework of the Summer Olympic Games, the 2011 hit movie "The Intouchables" (Original: "1+1") was brought back to cinemas in Paris.

The film has made history in France as the second highest-grossing film of all time, and it was also one of the first non-English language films to make waves in Estonia and across the whole world.

It is a heartwarming story about Philippe, a wealthy quadriplegic. His world is turned upside down when he hires Driss, a lively black ex-con, to be his caregiver. The collaboration between the two men sparks a friendship that transcends all social, economic, and other barriers between them.

The film's plot is based on the real lives of French aristocrat Philippe Pozzo di Borgo and his French-Algerian caregiver Abdel Sellou. In 2003, a documentary about them titled "For Better and for Worse" was released.

It is fair to say that "The Intouchables" has already become a modern classic and will surely delight audiences during the dark days of November! The film will be screened in French, with Estonian and Russian subtitles.
