Rogosi Manor in Ruusmäe is the only surviving castle-type manor house in Estonia, with a history dating back to the 17th century. Its square layout, corner towers, and former moat reflect its original defensive character — a rare architectural gem unlike anything else in the country.
Today, Rogosi Manor is open to visitors. Those interested in history and peaceful surroundings can enjoy the quiet atmosphere, architecture, and the hospitality of Võrumaa. The manor complex is also part of everyday community life, as it hosts a kindergarten group and a library branch, bringing a sense of living heritage into this historic place.
Accommodation is not currently offered at the manor, but the community hall can be booked for events and seminars, and guided tours are available upon request.
