In the heart of Haanja, right by the edge of the Source of Time (Aja allikas), stand three cozy tiny houses — each named after an old Estonian apple variety, with a young apple tree of the same name growing beside each house. Here, time moves at a gentler pace, leaving plenty of room for wandering in nature, enjoying terrace sunsets, and unexpectedly wonderful encounters.
The houses (Suislepp, Kuldrenett, Martsipan) are each 18 m² in size, featuring a double bed and fully equipped with a kitchenette, shower, toilet, free Wi-Fi, and everything you need for your morning coffee. Kuldrenett also welcomes pets. The houses are contact-free: simply book, complete your online check-in before arrival, and step inside using your door code.
The terraces offer views over the meadows of Harakmäe, where bedstraw and buttercups bloom in summer and the birdsong never seems to end. Right from your doorstep, the trail network of the Haanja Nature Park begins, while Suur Munamägi and the Haanja Recreation and Sports Centre are just a stone's throw away.
If your soul needs nourishment after exploring the outdoors, restaurant Suur Muna awaits on the other side of the apple orchard with its "Farm to Plate" menu — featuring delicious dishes for children, vegans, and lovers of fish, meat, and pasta alike. It is the perfect spot for a morning coffee or a leisurely dinner after a day of hiking.
