Hinni Canyon is a unique and enchanting natural site located in the protected zone of Haanja Nature Park in Rõuge Parish. Here, visitors can witness the true engineering artistry of nature: a canyon 15–20 metres deep and approximately 300 metres long, with the fast-flowing Enni Stream running along its base.

The canyon walls are formed of layered sandstone in white and yellowish tones. The vertical outcrops rise up to 5–6 metres in height and stretch for nearly 200 metres, creating a striking and picturesque landscape. A wooden boardwalk guides visitors through the narrowing canyon, leading them into a primeval space shaped by the rhythms of nature.

Hinni Canyon is open year-round. Visiting during daylight hours is recommended, as there is no additional lighting on site. Please also note that parts of the trail pass through private property, so dogs are not permitted in the area.
