The Foundation for Tourism in Rõuge Municipality announces a contest to find an operator for the Rõuge Ööbikuoru Visitor Centre. The deadline for submitting proposals is 15 March 2026 at 23:59.

We are looking for a partner to take over the day-to-day operation of the visitor centre and to develop services in cooperation with the Foundation and the Rõuge Rural Municipality Government, supporting the enhancement of the visitor experience and the financial sustainability of the centre.

The visitor centre is located in the beautiful Rõuge Ööbikuorg (Nightingale Valley) visiting area and serves as a vital reception and information hub for visitors. The centre is connected to the wider Ööbikuorg recreation area and the iconic Pesapuu (Bird's Nest) watchtower, which attract active visitors across all seasons, including during twilight and the dark hours.

We welcome proposals from operators who:

• have a well-thought-out service concept and seasonal business model;

• offer visitors authentic added value within the natural and community environment;

• present a realistic rental or economic model;

• are ready to work in close collaboration.

A fixed-term contract will be concluded with the operator for three (3) years, with the possibility of extension for another two (2) years.
